Spore

So this game, created by Will Wright (Sims creator) has garnered some attention from the media. Time magazine recently labeled spore as the 20th best invention of 2008, which is quite an accolade for a video game. This just goes to show that video games are becoming culturally accepted, rather than being ostracized. I have not played the game myself, and probably will not, but I thought it was interesting that a game was recognized for being a great invention.
